Popular IM Service/App, Nimbuzz, has launched an online retail portal for mobile phones called NCarry.com.
nCarry.com is a fast growing e-Commerce destination in India, which caters to handset sales in India. nCarry is jointly owned by Naspers/MIH (who also have investments in Tencent, Mail.ru, Gadu Gadu, Tradus, ibibo etc) and Capital Mangrove (who have also invested in Skype).
nCarry.com is an initiative by Nimbuzz, a four year old, Globally successful instant messenger on mobile. Being an award-winning platform, Nimbuzz with its 60 Million userbase brings to nCarry.com its award-winning ways!
They also have the iPhone 4S on Pre-order on Aircel, which is the hot topic in the subcontinent lately. The prices seem pretty much on par with other Indian online retailers like FlipKart, though time will tell how the new service does against the already established portals out there. The fact that it’s backed by a company as well known as Nimbuzz should see it do pretty well though. What do you think?
