Looks like the iPhone 4S just got priced in India today, and it’s all kinds of crazy expensive. The 16GB version is going for Rs 44,500, with the 32GB version for Rs 50,900 under Aircel.

Apparently the 64GB version will not be available according to @SingalNidhi who inquired about the prices at an Aircel Retail Store in Delhi. The Airtel prices for the iPhone 4S are expected to be around the same figure, if not exactly the same price. As you might already know, Aircel started pre-bookings for the new Apple smartphone today, where interested customers would have to leave their name, email address and phone number at Aircel stores, and would be contacted when the iPhone 4S is available.
Imho? So totally not worth it. Those prices are insane.
