Apple releases iOS 5.0.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, Fixes 4S Battery issues

   

 

Apple has now released iOS 5.0.1 for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch. The iTunes download is over 700MB but the good news is, if you’re already on iOS 5, the delta/OTA update is just 55MB.

You can check for an update right in your iPhone/iPad settings under “software update” to update it over-the-air. The changelog includes:

  • Fixes bugs affecting battery life
  • Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
  • Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
  • Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
