Well that was expected, eh? After three years of being the most trusted brand in India, Nokia has slipped to 5th place this year.

In Delhi, that’s been a very noticeable trend unfortunately. You can now see more iPhones and Samsung Galaxy variants around than Nokia smartphones. Nokia’s also been late to enter the Dual SIM market, compared to local manufacturers like MicroMax, Karbonn and Spice, which might have been a factor.
Popular toothpaste brand Colgate took first place, if you were wondering. Colgate’s been in second place for a while so they must be quite happy. For Nokia to go from first place to fifth place, is quite a fall, eh?
