New Qt based Nokia Store Client now available via Betalabs

Only yesterday, we gave you a glimpse of the new Nokia Store Client which we though would be released soon by Nokia for the existing Symbian devices.

Today, Nokia Betalabs has released the new Nokia Store Client as a beta so that it can be tested thoroughly being it is pushed as a Software Update via the official channels.

The new Nokia Store Client is based on QML instead of the Web Run Time, which the previous client was developed using. The new client offers all of the features of the previous version, along with the following new features -

• Easier navigation
• Improved product details view, for a rich and fluid discovery experience
• Quicker, smoother and more responsive than WRT client

Store QML client is available for the following devices: Nokia C6-01, C7-00, C7 Astound, E7-00, N8-00, X7-00.
