Nokia announces Nokia 100 / 101

Along with the three new smartphones, Nokia has also announced the Nokia 100 and Nokia 101 – inexpensive but reliable phones for those who those for whom the regular phone features are a lot more relevant than the frills of the smartphones.

Features of Nokia 100 / 101 -

  • Based on Series 30 Operating System
  • Support for upto 5 separate phonebooks
  • Store personalisation details for up to five different SIM cards
  • Grid based system of icons – for those who cannot read
  • Integrated flashlight – for regions where power is only available for a few hours daily
  • Battery which can last 25 days on standby & 6.7 hours of talktime
  • FM Radio
  • Preloaded games
  • 3.5mm AV connector support
  • In select market, Nokia Life Tools will also be included
Along with these, Nokia 101 also features -
  • Dual SIM support
  • MP3 Player with 16GB Memory Card support
The Nokia 101 and 100 go on sale from this quarter (Nokia 101) and next (Nokia 100) in selected markets. Without local taxes or operator subsidies they’ll cost around €25 for the Nokia 101 and about €20 for the Nokia 100.
