Nokia 5230, 5235 and 5238 firmware updated to version 50
Nokia 5230, 5235 and 5238 devices have received the Update to Symbian 5.0 bringing the new Browser, Maps and Smiley support along with various other improvements.
According to the Nokia Device Software Update site, the update brings the following improvements to the device -
- New, faster version of the web browser, including web search integrated into the web address field, and support for multiple windows and web addresses containing non-Latin characters
- Big clock feature, displaying the time and date when you press the menu key, if the screen and keys are locked
- Emoticons can be used in text and multimedia messages
- Ovi Contacts removed
- General performance improvements
To download this update, Open SW Update on your phone or Dial *#0000# and Check for Updates
