Remember when we showed y’all the Android 2.3 Gingerbread port running on the Nokia N900? Well its now officially released.

Here’s a list of what’s working and what isnt, before you go ahead and try installing it:
What is working:
- 3D
- GApps
- accelerometer && orientation policies
- lights HAL
- hardware keyboard%)
- sound
- charging, battery status indication
- modem/data, SMS receiving, USSD, calls/signaling
- A2SD
- wi-fi connectivity
- bluetoothWhat is NOT working…
- codecs. Sound is almost useless, you can’t listen to music etc.
- voicecalls (wut do you expect — mediaserver crashes when ringtone is played?)
- fakegps
- UMS
So yeah, this is pretty unstable still, and still very experimental. But hey, if you want to give it a go, check it out over at the NITDroid Forums.
