Android 
While most other Android devices out there are still waiting for the Android 2.3 Update, the Nokia N900‘s already gotten a taste of it, thanks to the genius minds at Nitdroid.de.
The folks from the NITDroid project have succesfully ported the Android 2.3 aka GingerBread version of the Mobile OS, to the Nokia N900. Both Android 2.3 and 2.2 have a stable release coming soon for the N900, with the Froyo port supposedly coming along in the “next few days”. Basically the core between 2.2 and 2.3 were more or less the same, which helped this speedy little port.
2.2.1 stable release before Christmas. 2.3-experimental before NY… and i hope to have smth for Ortodox Cristmas too:)
Not too bad eh? Now if they could somehow get Android running on the N8, I’d be a happy camper.
