The Nokia E63 gets a firmware update to version 501.21.001

Thanks to A2Phone.com we’ve come to know that the Nokia E63 just got a firmware update a couple days ago, to v501.21.001. It’s previous firmware was v500.21.009.

If you havent gotten the update yet, you’ll just have to wait till the update is rolled out across your part of the world for your device region code. Remember, if your device is product branded, you might have to wait even longer for the update. Apparently only some EURO devices have gotten the update so far.

The E63 does not have UDP (User Data Preservation), so remember to backup all your data before the firmware update, since it will erase all your data.

Here’s the full changelog :

  • Comes with Music with upgraded Music player
  • New version of Ovi Store
  • Office 2007 support
  • Usability and performance improvements

Have you updated your E63 yet ? Notice anything that we missed ? Let us know in the comments y’all!
