The Nokia E71 gets a Minor firmware update to version 501.21.001

Apparently the Good ol’ Nokia E71 got a minor firmware update this week, to v501.21.001. The previous firmware update was v.500.21.009.

If you havent gotten the update yet, you’ll just have to wait till the update is rolled out across your part of the world for your device region code. Remember, if your device is product branded, you might have to wait even longer for the update. This is also one of those updates that just might not apply to your product code at all, so I wouldnt wait for it. The changelog is very minor, too.

The E71 does not have UDP (User Data Preservation), so remember to backup all your data before the firmware update, since it will erase all your data.
