Admittedly, we’re big fans of the Christmas season here on ZCJ. Infact we’re already in the mood! With that in mind we figured, why not give away a brand spankin’ new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, in this year’s ZOMGitsXmas Giveaway (Get it? X10? Xmas? Oh we’re so clever!)
As you might already know, the Xperia 10 is an Android 2.1 Device had boasts an 8 Megapixel camera with HD video recording capabilities, 4 Inch capacitive touchscreen, with 1 GB of internal memory and an 8GB microSD included (supports up to 32GB), and a host of other features. All this for one lucky winner!

How to Enter:
In order to get yourself the Xperia X10 for Christmas, and to help us spread the word out about the site, you have to complete the following tasks to be considered a valid entry:
- Follow @ZOMGitsCJ on Twitter and do the following:
Take a picture of your current phone (The older/more-ancient, the better) and Twitpic it marking it with “#ZOMGitsXmas” and including the http://bit.ly/ZOMGitsXmas link somewhere in it (both important so that we can find your entry).
Along with that, and most importantly, give us a reason why you want the Xperia X10 over your current phone.
For example your entry could be: http://Twitpic.com/blahblah I need the Xperia X10 this #ZOMGitsXmas because my 3310 isnt cutting it anymore http://bit.ly/ZOMGitsXmas
We know that with Twitter’s character limit and including the #ZOMGitsXmas tag and link, there might not be too much left over space to type anything more than a sentence, but that’s where your creativity comes in, eh?
Remember, if you dont have a camera phone around, you can take a picture with a normal digital camera and upload it with your desktop browser using Twitpic.com.
Note: You do not have to send us a @reply on twitter. The Tag and Link would be more than enough.
So that’s the Twitpic’d image, the reason with the hashtag, and the link back to the post. Not too complicated I hope?

On December 19th morning, we’ll announce the winner on Twitter and Update this post. You’ll get a brand new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, delivered to you right from SE’s Headquarters, which should reach you right before Christmas Day.

hi, I just tried taking a pic of my trusty old nokia 1100 with an old aiptek digital camera and posted it on twitpic/twitter, can someone please tell me if the entry went through, I'm not too clued in to twitter and facebook kinda sites? this is an awesome giveaway and I'd like to win the phone for my dad who's got a malfunctioning sony ericsson k310i ever since it slipped out of his hands and dropped on the floor.
