The Nokia X6 just got a firmware update to v30.0.003. It’s previous version was v21.2.005.
The X6 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.
The update has only come to certain AsianProduct codes at the time of posting, but no doubt it will be available across all regions and product codes soon.
Remember you can update using the X6’s OTA (Over-The-Air) feature, or if you prefer you can download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your X6 on your windows PC.
