We’ve all been there. You type out a sentence really fast, hit the send key, only to realise that the iPhone’s auto-correction has totally changed the meaning of one crucial little word. D’oh. A new site called Damn You Auto Correct showcases these aforementioned wrongly-corrected sentences from the iPhone.
If you’re a speed texter, you’ll probably have the habit of hitting send before proof-reading the whole text, and on-screen keyboards often predict the wrong word that someone is trying to type, which results in some pretty hilarious texts. Damn You Autocorrect takes in submissions from people who have received such texts.
