We’ve been asked multiple times about how the Nokia E5 sizes up.
With that in mind, here’s a couple size comparison images of the Nokia E5 vs the Nokia E63.
Front View:
Here you can see the evolution in design from the Nokia E63, to the Nokia E5 now. There’s a lot of similarities too, especially in the Keypad. They’re also more or less the same size, and are pretty much the same build quality, the E5 edging out a little better because of more metals used.
Both the E63 and E72 have a 2.4 Inch screen (2.36 to be exact, for the E5).
The E63 has 4 one-touch keys (3 customisable and one Menu key), along with the Dpad and Calling keys. The E5 has one menu button, and one for Messaging, along with it’s Dialing keys, Dpad and left/right selection keys.
Both have a very similar keyboard design, the spacebar and last row being more cramped on the E63.
Back View:
The E63 has a 2 Megapixel Camera on the back. The E5 has a 5 Megapixel, with a single LED Flash. Both are fixed focus though. The E63 has a plastic back panel, while the E5 has a metal panel.
Left View:
The E63 has it’s MicroSD and MicroUSB port here. The E5 keeps it minimal with no ports here. You’ll also notice both are more or less, the same thickness.
Top View:
Both devices have their standard 3.5mm Audio Jack here. The E63 also has its loudspeaker situated here. The E5?s charging port is situated here, along with it’s microUSB port.
Right View:
No ports here for the E63. The E5 has it’s volume keys here though.
Bottom View:
The Nokia E63 has it’s charging port here, while the E5 keeps it minimal with no ports.

Yaa, only 3 major three things i found extra in E5 than E63! 1.E5 is metal covered, but E63 is plastic. 2.E5 has voulme keys in side , but E63 doesn't. 3.E5 has 5Mega pixel & E63 has 2MP. For me SL 1 & 2 is not a issue , but only thing is Camera MP. E63 is 650AED where as E5 is 840AED. No problem i will buy sepaetae Digital Camera with 12MP. One thing is clear , whatever the mobile until we satisfied there is no end............ Cheers / Ramesh - Planning Manager UAE
