Samsung announced their fifth Bada OS phone today, the Samsung Wave II S8530.

The Wave II boasts a 3.7 inch Super Clear LCD display at 800×480 pixels resolution, a 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0, 2GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 32GB expandable memory, 3.5mm headphone jack, 1500mAh battery and 3G capabilities.
What’s confusing though, is that the Wave “II” is not the same as the Wave “2“. This one’s the actual successor to the present Samsung Wave (Read our Review of it here). And we thought Nokia had confusing Model names, eesh.
The Samsung Wave II should be available from November starting in Germany and the rest of Europe, and comes with a price tag of 429 euros (approx Indian Rs26,000 US $590). No word on an Indian release date just yet.
"price tag of 429 euros (approx Indian Rs26,00, US $590)". Please correct it.
