As expected, with the launch of any new service, there’s gonna be whining users missing features, bugs and other general not-niceties.
Apple’s Game Center is not immune, check out the list below:
Friends list capped at 500
No Gamer Scores to be found anywhere
No private message or chat functions
Some games not recognising unlocked achievements
Some games that have already been completed by the user are not unlocking the achievements automatically, unless there is an option to wipe the users data and start the game from scratch
Achievements not consistent - some games have 40 achievements, others have 30, 3 or even just 1 lone achievement.
