With the Game Center going live anytime soon, you’d figure that every iOS 4.1 compatible device would be able to run Apple’s new Game Center app.
Unfortunately though, that’s not the case. Apple has confirmed that the iPhone 3G and older iPhones, as well as second-gen and older iPod Touch devices, will not be getting Apple’s new mobile and social gaming platform. This means the final compatibility list includes the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, along with the second, third, and fourth generation iPod touch variants.
