Nokia C6 Review: Camera Samples

Like we mentioned in our First Impressions, the Nokia C6 is turning out to be quite an enjoyable device.

However, it’s camera is not exactly something that’s helping with that. The Nokia C6 has a standard Nokia Lens 5 Megapixel Camera, with a Single LED Flash. Since it’s not a camera-oriented device we’re not going to judge each Image as we usually do. But just to give you a good idea of how that camera is capable of, here’s a couple Image and Video Samples.

The Interface:

The Camera UI and Interface on the Nokia C6 is completely identical to that on the Nokia N97 Mini, being as they’re both S60v5 (Symbian^1) devices. No surprises there.

Since we’ve already talked about the S60 V5 Camera Interface tons of times before, we wont go over it again. Nothing has really changed in the Camera UI from the 5800 and N97 Mini to the Nokia C6. GPS Geo-Tagging, Variable Quality settings, its all still in there.

Conclusion:

So, as you can see, the C6 does a very basic job with it’s camera. Some Images do look quite dull, and there’s a noticable purple-ish tint to them. Then again, some images look pretty good.

The Daylight Images are quite decent, although the night images arnt too great, seeing how it just has a Single LED flash. I’m a bit surprised at how much of a different not having a Carl Zeiss lens makes.
