Collada, is a royalty-free XML schema that enables digital asset exchange within the interactive 3D industry. And now, users who want to show off their created 3D models, can do so on their Nokia N900s.
This is possibile thanks to the “Collada 3D Viewer” app for Maemo that was released over the Maemo repository this weekend. The app allows you to add Collada support for your device and view 3d models stored in Collada format. Rotate, pan, zoom and switch between cameras. Open 3d models from web, email attachments or file system, etc.
