Android v2.2 Froyo for the Samsung Galaxy S leaked?

A website called samsung-firmware.webs.com, says they’ve managed to get a hold of a test version of the Samsung Galaxy S firmware with Android 2.2 (Froyo).

On the Samsung server we find 2 firmwares.

I9000XXJP1 and I9000XXJP2

We download I9000XXJP1 but this is a currupt file on the server.

Second time we download I9000XXJP2 this is a correct file.

The file size is 252MB.

The tar file is 341MB.

Name of the file: I9000XXJP1

We only have a PDA file so you only can flash your PDA.

They’ve also gone to state that while this is a test firmware, the official firmware is expected sometime in September and will be available via Samsung’s “Kies” Pc application first.

If you’re interested you can head on over to samsung-firmware.webs.com for the download link (which they’ve stated they’ll release soon).
