Oh dear. Apple just could not let this thing go.
Recently in yet another one of their attempts at trying to prove that other cellphones lose signal if held (awkwardly, unlike in the case of the iPhone 4 which loses signal if held in a normal position), they’re come up with the following video on how the Nokia N97 Mini can lose signal if held tightly. In a very strange position. Extremely Tightly. By a Fat-handed guy.
The Nokia N97 Mini goes from a full seven bars to two.
I just tried it on my N97 Mini and nothing of the sort happened. Then again maybe I wasnt holding it tight enough. Or maybe my hands werent fat enough.
Sigh, Apple. Looking a bit desperate here, arnt you?

It just shows that Apple is desperate.
However, I tried my 5800 few days ago. Bars drop from 7 (full) to 3, and then go back to 7 when I am still covering the bottom part. I think my 5800 has its intelligence to boost the antenna when it detects significant drops of network reception.
You'd think that with making ONE phone a year, they'd try to make sure it was working properly :P
Apple seem to be desperate in protecting themselves. What happened to their "Think different"? Now the situation is such that they have to compare their "magical" phones with "normal" phones. Bad move Apple.
the X6 had ALSO (especially when holding in the flat hand while e.g. webbrowsing) .
but this is phiysic - no reason to blame a phone.
but OS - especially symbian OS - would be a reason to blame.
oops, N97mini HAS symbian OS AND antenna problems ;-)))
Apple, make the world a favor and STFO, be clever enough to let fanboys forget your desing failure.
