Nokia India just dropped a little email our way to invite our readers to check out a new Nokia “Pop-Up Store” initiative that’s going to be set up at the Forum Mall, Koramangala, Bangalore this July 24th 23rd.

The store is also going to showcase Ovi Maps with it’s free Navigation and Nokia’s “Own Voice” app that we’ve spoken about so many times here on ZCJ.
Nandita Pai, the Global Head of Ovi Maps, will be there to answer any questions about Ovi Maps, and there’s going to be the latest Nokia devices hanging around too. Nandita is a very cool person and a good friend of ZCJ, so make sure to tell her we said Hi!
From the Nokia India Invite:
We would like to invite you to the Nokia Pop Up Store on July 24th 23rd at Forum Mall, Koramangla, Bangalore.
The idea is to showcase the very popular Ovi Maps with Free Navigation and Own Voice and also demonstrate the cool new Nokia Pop-Up Store.
As you might already know, Nokia provides leading edge Turn-by-Turn Navigation Technology on all of it’s latest Symbian devices. Ovi Maps also has some very cool extras like built-in integration with Buurp.com, Lonely Planet Guides, and now you can have your own voice or a friend’s navigate you with the Ovi Maps Own Voice app. You can also check out the Maps for your region online at Maps.Ovi.com, create favorites or routes and save them, and sync them onto your Nokia device.
At the Pop-Up store, you will be invited to experience this technology and it’s various benefits on Nokia’s latest range of devices.
Nandita Pal (Global Head- Ovi Maps) from Nokia India will also be there to answer any questions you might have.
There will be some cool prizes for consumers such as free movie voucher for two in the mall.
The Event Starts at 4:30 pm
So if you’re in the neighbourhood, do swing by. They’re using the Twitter hashtag #OviMapsIndia for this one.
Unfortunately, I cant exactly afford a trip all the way to Bangalore from Delhi right now, so we’re going to sit this one out. But there’s going to be a couple familiar other Mobile and Tech Bloggers from India present. I’ve even heard rumors of free swag, so hey it might be worth it.
If you do make it, do let us know how it goes!
