The Nokia E75 gets a Firmware update to v211.12

Thanks to AAS, we’ve gotten to know that the Nokia E75 has received a minor Firmware update to version 211.12. Its previous firmware was v210.12.15.

The E75 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.

Remember you can update using the E75’s OTA (Over-The-Air) feature, or if you prefer you can download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your E75 on your windows PC. The firmware is currently available on NSU.

If there’s no new firmware detected for your device yet, it might be because it hasnt reached your region product code yet, or maybe your device is carrier branded. It should roll out to all product codes eventually though.

The Official changelog so far is:

  • Corrections done concerning e-mail client: contacts and calendar sync starts failing specifically with exchange 2003 SP2 server
  • Corrections done concerning OMA DM remote configuration problem
  • Corrections done concerning FOTA server profile, wherein PC-suite has been set as the default profile instead of Nokia, this has been corrected.
  • Improvements to the device lock functionality

Have you updated your E75 yet ? Notice anything new ? Do let us know in the comments y’all.
