Yes. What if Nokia just made one phone a year.

That’s the question that was bought up while I was talking to a group of friends earlier today. Friends who had all moved onto the *gasp* iPhone.
Admittedly the Apple iPhone way is definitely something Nokia does not want to go by. Nokia has phones in every segment and follow a “There’s a phone model for every person” roadmap. But there’s no denying the impact that one ‘American’ phone made.
But just imagine that scenario for a second. If Nokia made one phone a year, they’d have enough time to make sure it’s as polished, as stable and as high quality as (well) the iPhone. Right?
But yes, again, that doesnt agree with their roadmap.
Fine.
Then start a new series? Rumours of the Nokia “S-series” have been floating about for some time now. Apparently a “Super” series or sorts? Phone’s that will cost a bullshizz amount of cash?
S’pose the S-series is just a single phone that is released once a year.
S’pose Nokia dedicates a team to this series, to make sure it’s as polished, yada yada, as that phone-we-mentioned-earlier.
The OS is still a problem. But once MeeGo gets out, it wont. Let that S-series phone run MeeGo then?
Would that work?

Then it'll become easier to purchase a new phone...
And with dual OS (symbian and MeeGo) it is sure to rock
:)
