We’ve been asked about this a couple times on our Twitter.
So without further ado, here’s a couple size comparison pictures of the Nokia E52 vs the Nokia E72.
Front View:
Both devices have front facing cameras, a earpiece and a light sensor at the top.
You’ll notice their design elements are mostly identical too. Both have a black and white color scheme. Also something to note, is both devices do not have red and green color coded dialing buttons, keeping them white-on-black to go with the design theme.
The E72 is obviously the larger of the two, with it’s 2.3″ landscape oriented screen. The E52 in the meanwhile has a 2.4″ portrait oriented screen. Both have a screen resolution of QVGA (320 x 240 pixels; 240×320 for the E72).
The E72 has 3 One-Touch keys (Calendar, Contacts and Messaging) in addition to it’s Home button, while the E52 only has two (Calendar+Messaging) in addition to its Home button. Both have Dpads that pulsate light to indicate new text messages, emails or missed calls.
Back View :
The E72 has a stainless steel back panel, next to it’s 5 Megapixel standard Nokia lens with a Single LED Flash. It’s single Loudspeaker is also situated here.
The E52 follows the same design clues again, but with a matt black steel back panel instead, and a 3.2MP fixed-focus standard Nokia lens with a single LED Flash next to it’s single Mono Loudspeaker.
Left View :
The E72 has its microUSB port here (can be used to charge the device also) and it’s microSD port here, both covered with a hard plastic flap. The E52 keeps it mostly simple, with only it’s microUSB port here, which again, is the sole means of charging the device.
Top View :
Both devices have their power buttons, and 3.5mm Audio Jack here.
Right View :
The E52 has it’s dedicated camera button here, along with their zoom in/out (doubles as volume increase/decrease) keys. It also has a “mute” key in the middle. These keys also appear on the E72 (except for the dedicated Cam Key).
Bottom View:
Both devices keep it minimal with no ports at the bottom. The E72 though, has it’s standard Nokia charging port here.
