Animated Live Wallpapers come to the Nokia N900

Admittedly, one of the cool things about the Google Nexus one has to be it’s interactive live wallpapers.

Well, the Nokia N900 has that now ! Kinda.

A user named Vasvlad from Maemo Talk has made a Live Wallpaper application for Maemo, that’s still in Beta. And here’s a video of it :

As you can see, the wallpaper “movement animations” are pretty smooth. It’s not interactive but hey, it’s better than a boring old fashioned non-animated wallpaper, eh ?

If you’re interested in giving it a go, you can download over at Maemo Garage.

Cool one, i loved the buildings and movements of the train.

well to be exact, Nokia (or Symbian) did start this live wallpaper/background trend back in early 2003? with their devices like the Nokia 6600 and 7610. But it was more simply an moving object like logo, flying words/news/sms, rather than an interactive one like Nexus One. But still cool
