Create your Ovi Maps Story and Win !

We were attending an Ovi Maps Q&A hosted by WomWorld, when out of nowhere they announced an Ovi Maps “Create your Story” Competition.

Over the next four weeks the Ovi Team wants Ovi Maps users to share with them, their Ovi Maps stories.
How they use Ovi Maps, etc. And it can be any service of Ovi Maps of course: Drive, Walk, Share location and so on.

Users can create their Ovi Maps story the way they prefer:

• Record a video and share it via YouTube, Vimeo, Qik or any other video service of their choice;
• Take pictures, upload them on Facebook and click here to create your story with our Facebook application. They can also upload them on Flickr, Twitpic or any other service of their choice;
• Or write a blog post

The Ovi Maps competition is running from March 22nd 1pm GMT until April 19th 1pm GMT.

Once their story is ready to be shared, they can tweet it to @OvibyNokia with the link to their story and the hash tag #OviMaps.

Each week they will announce a winner. You can win one of the following Nokia GPS smartphones:

• Nokia N97 mini with the latest Ovi Maps v 3.03, a car holder and a car charger; or
• Nokia X6 with the latest Ovi Maps v 3.03, a car holder and a car charger; or
• Nokia E72 with the latest Ovi Maps v 3.03, a car holder and a car charger.

The winners will be announced on March 30^th 2010, April 6^th 2010,  April 13^th 2010 and April 20^th 2010.

To get y’all going, every week a Ovi Maps product manager is going to share his/her favorite Ovi Maps story. More info can be found on the Ovi Blog (soon).
