BarrioSquare for Maemo 5 came out of private testing yesterday, and is now available to download in the Extras-Devel Repository in the N900 (if you’ve enabled it in your Application Manager).

Barriosquare, if you havent heard of it before, is an application for the Nokia N900, that does a pretty sweet job of allowing you to check-in to and search venues, and so forth on Foursquare, the GPS-based Social Networking service.

We’ve been using and testing BarrioSquare for a while now here at ZCJ, and it’s definitely one of the best apps for foursquare out there. I’m just hoping Chris ports it over to Symbian somehow, because I dont have a trial N900 anymore lol.
More info, a video overview of Barriosquare, along with a short interview with the developer over on TheNokiaBlog.com.
