Quick Post here. Way back in 2008, way before Ovi Sync was ever heard of, we discovered that Nokia had a service called “My Nokia Backup” which allowed you to backup your phone data and settings online, and sync it back later.

“My Nokia Backup” was sort of a test-run for Ovi Sync, which is the current Online Phone Backup utility of choice, and also boasts a couple more features.
With that in mind, apparently Nokia has decided to shut down the “My Nokia Backup” service at the end of the next month (30th April 2010), so if you’re still a user of the service, you might want to create a backup over at Ovi Sync instead. If you’re a user of Ovi Sync, or have never made a Backup over at the My Nokia service, dont worry this wont affect you at all.
