The cool thing about the Nokia N900‘s Maemo 5 Browser is that you can pretty much open any website out there and it’ll work great.
And even the Gmail desktop version of Google Buzz work’s pretty great on the N900.
But for those of you who are a tiny bit worried about your Bandwidth, here’s a neat little trick to use the Android version of Google Buzz on your Nokia N900.
Y’know since Maemo doesnt have an official version yet (and Symbian has Buzz on the updated Google Maps)
Set user agent to Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1; en-us; dream) AppleWebKit/525.10+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0.4 Mobile Safari/523.12.2
Click on the Set
Then the browser will be restarted
Now go to the browser, open http://buzz.google.com
And that’s all there is to it !
Here’s a short video to show you exactly how it works and looks on the Nokia N900 :
Pretty cool, eh ? The nice slick Android version of Google Buzz, right on your Maemo 5 Nokia N900.

We just went through a pretty massive rebranding from ZOMGitsCJ to UnleashThePhones. You might see a couple broken links, or missing images or strangely sized videos. If you do, please let us know on Twitter or using the Contact Form.
