Original Nokia N97 owners rejoice ! Y’all finally have the new Free Turn-by-turn Navigation version of Ovi Maps.
How can you get it ?
All you have to do is start up your “Software Updater” app and let it check for updates. Easy as that, eh ?
Remember though, unlike the N97 Mini, the Original N97 doesnt have too much phone memory to start with, and Ovi Maps 3.3 weighs in at about 8MB which will take up a significant amount of it. If you have about 25-30Mb of Free phone memory, you can go ahead and try it out. But in all honesty, we’d recommend just waiting for an eventually firmware update (which is rumoured to contain the new Ovi Maps version in ROM).
