In response to the devastation in Haiti caused by the earthquake on January 12, 2010, Nokia made an immediate cash donation of 200 000 USD to contribute to the aid efforts. Together with Nokia Siemens Networks we are working with expert organizations to extend our support beyond the immediate disaster relief, for example by helping to re-establish communication links on the island.
