I just checked to see if my good ol’ N82 got a firmware update like the N95 did today, and Hey Hey ! Apparently, the Euro and Asian variant of the Nokia N82 has gotten a firmware update to version v35.0.002.
The Nokia N82 has UDP (User Data Preservation), so you can update without losing any of your data. Its still advised to backup all your data before the firmware update.
You will have to download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your N82 on your windows PC.
There’s no word on a changlog yet though.
I guess they’re just a bunch of Bug Fixes under the hood. I’m updating mine right now, so I’ll let you know if I find anything new.
Like anything can make this phone more Kickass :) ?
Update : So I’ve updated My N82. Nothing really “new” in this firmware. We were expecting atleast a couple Ovi Apps thrown in, but so far it just seems to be purely speed improvements. Otherwise, nothing noticeable I’m afraid. Since the N82 has User Data Preservation, you might as well update just for the heck of it.
I tried the firmware update v35. No visual changes. But it's having some error with multi tasking. When we press and hold the menu button for switching to another application, it's get jammed....
