Cause we figured, Why not put the Eseries Flagship against the current Nseries Flagship ?
Here are a couple size comparison pics of the Nokia N97 vs the Nokia E72.
Front View :
If you look at these two devices side-by-side you can totally tell they’re made for different market segments. The E72 has more Metal all around, and the One-Touch keys on the front. The E72 is noticeably wide-er than the N97, but around the same size lengthwise.
The E72 has a 2.4″ screen while the N97 has a 3.5″ touchscreen. Both have front-facing VGA cameras in the upper side, near a earpiece and light sensor. The N97 also has a proxity sensor at the top.
The E72 also has a full Qwerty Keyboard while the N97 has a touchscreen on the front with a slide out full Qwerty Keyboard.
The Full Qwerty Keyboard of the N97 is noticably larger than the E72, thanks to its slide-out form-factor. The N97’s keys are flat (and very slightly raised) while the E72 has raised keys to help make typing easier.
Back View :
The E72 has a 5 Megapixel Standard Nokia Camera at its back, with a single LED Flash. It also has metallic back panel.
The N97 has a 5 Megapixel Carl Zeiss Camera (covered with a lens protector) at the back, with a dual LED Flash, and hard plastic back panel.
Its worth mentioning that the E72 has its loudspeaker located at the back.
Left View :
The E72 has its MicroSD and MicroUSB (which can also be used to charge the device) port here. You’ll also notice that the E72 is a lot thinner than the N97.
The N97 has its microUSB port (which is also used to charge the device) here on the left side. There’s also its sliding keypad lock switch, and both its stereo speakers at either end.
Top View :
Both devices have their standard 3.5mm Audio Jack here, along with their power button.
Right View :
The E72 has its volume increase/decrease (aka zoom in/out) keys here, along with a mute/voicetag key in the middle.
The N97 has its dedicated Camera Button here, along with a Zoom in/out (aka Volume Increase/Decrease) Key.
Bottom View :
The E72 has its charging port here. The N97 keeps it minimalistic with no ports here.

I got a n97 in august, the phone hangs continously and the charge sucks bigtime. . . Overall not very pleased. thinking of changing to E72, what is ur opinion???
The E72 is a lot more faster and stable overall, and has great battery life. But it doesnt have the large screen and ample 32GB of space that the N97 does. Not to mention its not a touch device like the N97, and because of that, doesnt have as many "cool apps" as the N97. Then there's the normal 5MP camera on the E72 vs the Carl Zeiss 5 MP on the N97, etc etc.
I guess you'll have to consider these all and make a decision :) In my personal opinion though the E72's a whole lot more reliable a device than the N97.
i wanted to take the professional phone but i cant help it...
