The Nokia E72 is the new Eseries flagship, which effectively replaces the E71. The (kind of) recently launched Nokia E75 occupied that throne for a little while though. The E75 was also the first Eseries device to ship with the Slide-Out-Full-Qwerty-Keyboard Form Factor.
Here are a couple images of the Nokia E72 vs the Nokia E75.
Front View :
If you look at these two devices side-by-side you can totally tell they’re Eseries. Given the Metal all around, and the One-Touch keys on the front. The E75 is noticeably thin-er than the E72 in terms of width. Height-wise they’re more or less the same.
The E72 has a 2.4″ screen while the E75 has a 2.4″ screen (both at the same resolution though). Both have front-facing VGA cameras in the upper side, near a earpiece and light sensor.
The E72 also has a full Qwerty Keyboard while the E75 has a standard Alphanumeric Keypad on the front with a slide out full Qwerty Keyboard.
The Full Qwerty Keyboard of the E75 is noticably larger than the E72, thanks to its slide-out form-factor. The E75′s keys are flat while the E72 has raised keys to help make typing easier.
Back View :
The E72 has a 5 Megapixel Camera at its back, compared to the Nokia E75 and it’s 3 Megapixel camera. Both have a single LED Flash. They both have a metallic back panel with a similar locking mechanism.
Its worth mentioning that both the E72 and E75 has its loudspeaker located at the back.
Left View :
Both devices have their MicroSD and MicroUSB port here. You’ll also notice that the E72 is a lot thinner than the E75.
Top View :
Both devices have their standard 3.5mm Audio Jack here. The E72 has its power button where, while the E75 uses its Red Calling key as its power button too.
Right View :
The E72 and E75 have its volume increase/decrease (aka zoom in/out) keys here, along with a mute/voicetag key in the middle. The E75 has its Dedicated Camera key here too.
Bottom View :
Both devices have just their charging port here.
===========================
That’s about it. What do you guys think about the E72 vs E75 ? Does the E75 still have its charm or is the device already hopelessly out of date compared to the new Nokia E72 ?
