I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how the Nokia E72 compares to it’s older sibling, the Nokia E71.
Here are a couple images of the Nokia E72 vs the Nokia E71.

Here you can see the differences between the E71 and E72 and how Eseries Design has evolved over the year(s). You might also notice that they’re more or less the same size.
Both the E71 and E72 have a 2.4″ screen. Both have front-facing VGA cameras in the upper side, near its earpiece and light sensor.
Both devices have 4 one-touch keys (3 customisable and one Menu key), along with the Dpad and Calling keys. You can notice that in the E71, the calling keys are not red or green color coded, which takes some getting used to at first.
You’ll also notice that the E72 keyboard has a couple more keys fitted in compared to the E71, thanks to the shortened spacebar.
Backview :
The E72 has a 5 Megapixel Camera at its back, compared to the Nokia E71 and it’s 3 Megapixel camera. Both have a single LED Flash and Metal back panel (with different designs though).
Its worth mentioning that the E72 has its loudspeaker located at the back.
Left View :
Both devices have their MicroSD and MicroUSB port here. The E71 also has an IR port here, which is absent in the E72.
You’ll also notice they’re more or less the exact same thickness.
Top View :
Both the E72 and E71 have their power buttons at the top.

The E72 has its standard 3.5mm Audio Jack here.
Right View :
Both devices have their volume increase/decrease (aka zoom in/out) keys here, along with a mute/voicetag key in the middle of them.
The E71 also has its 2.5 mm audio jack here. (Worth mentioning again, that the E72 has a standard 3.5mm audio jack instead of the 2.5).
Bottom View :
Both devices have just their charging port here.

i have nokia e 71 and i think that is very good phone, has all important options and VERY STRONG battery... e 72 is butter just cause of camera 5 mpx, while e 71 has 3,2 mpx.... E SERIES RULES! :)

can you use VGA camera? In E71 it was of no use except 3G video calls. Also I wish back cover was also black.
