How do you route someone on foot, if there are no roads? As more and more mobile devices are being equipped with GPS, this question becomes more and more important. Primordial is the leader in pedestrian navigation. With technology we have developed for the US Army, we can create routes where no roads exist. We do this by creating what we call a Smart Map. Built up from many data sources, and improved upon with special image analysis techniques, our innovative Ground Guidance software can guide a user anywhere. If there are roads or paths, we will find and use them. But if there is not, we will create the best walkable path. Ground Guidance is available as a standalone application, or built into Nokia Maps utilizing the Apps of Maps technology.
