Nokia has launched the N97 Mini in India today, with a two day event called the “N-Tour-age” (get it ? Sounds like ‘Entourage’ ? Ha).
As you might already know, the N97 ‘Mini’, is the smaller brother of the Original N97. The Mini being smaller, with just 8GB of memory (vs the 32GB on the N97), a slightly smaller 3.2″ screen (vs the 3.5″ of the original) and 250mb of internal phone memory which should solve the phone memory problems that plagued the Original N97.
Today was the launch event in Delhi, and tomorrow’s the second launch event in Bangalore (which we will be attending). The event is also a a focused group interaction with Mr. Jonne Harju, Senior Design Manager at Nokia Design Studio. He’s the man responsible for designing the N97 Mini, so we’re definitely interested in meeting the guy.
He’s here to share a perspective on:
The N900 will also be there (although we’re still not sure if or when the device will launch in India) which we hope to get some hands on time with.
You can follow the event by following the Nseries_IN account on twitter, or by following us on Twitter for the inside scoop.
Have any questions for Mr. Jonne Harju ? Or any of the topics hes going to talk about ? Let us know and we’ll try to ask him tomorrow, at the Nokia N97 Mini launch event in Bangalore.
