Opera Mobile 10 Beta Now Released for S60

Earlier today, Opera went ahead and released their Opera Mobile v10 Beta Browser for S60 Symbian Mobile devices.

Opera Mobile 10

What’s the difference between this and Opera Mini 5 ? Well for one thing, its a native Symbian application so its much faster than the Java Opera Mini app.

Plus because of this, its also more responsive, uses the battery more efficiently and has a couple more features too, like selecting text, multiple Tabs and Adaptive Page Zoom.

The browser works pretty darn well at rendering full pages. It rendered the full desktop version of the ZCJ homepage pretty fast. Unfortunately there’s no Flash support so you cant view Youtube videos, etc. It also seems to use up a lot more ram.

You can read the full list of features, and download the app from the Opera Mobile 10 Beta Page. To download it straight to your device, just go to m.opera.com/mobile on your device browser.

Useless update! Now I cannot change or delete the home page icon sites once I've fixed them. Far more unstable than version 5. I have gone back to Nokia web browser, lol!
