The Nokia N85 got a minor firmware update, to v30.101. Its previous Firmware was v30.019.

The N85 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.
Remember you can update using the N85’s OTA (Over-The-Air) feature, or if you prefer you can download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your N85 on your windows PC.
If there’s no new firmware detected for your device yet, it might be because it hasnt reached your region product code yet, or maybe your device is carrier branded. It should roll out to all product codes eventually though.
There’s no actual changelog out yet, but we will update this post as soon as we find one.
The Official Nokia Press release though, states this as the changelog :
This software release includes improvements in copying contacts from your SIM card. To get this software through your device, type in *#0000# on the home screen or go to Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on screen prompts. Additionally this software release is available through the [Nokia Software Updater].
Have you updated your N85 yet ? Notice anything new ? Do let us know in the comments y’all.
