Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 released for Nokia 5530 XpressMusic

If you happen to have a Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, you might want to check out your Software Update Application. Released earlier today was an Adobe Flash Lite v3.1 Update.

Apparently this update brings a bunch of improvements. Here’s what the official Nokia Press Release had to say :

This software release comes with Flash player 9 and ActionScript 2.0 support, and enhanced support for online video and music services. Touch usability has also been improved. Other improvements include Web browsing experience and defect fixes. To get this software through your device, select Applications > SW update. To download and install the selected updates select Options > Start update.

I havent really noticed any…uhh….noticable improvements but hey, its an update.

Remember, all you have to do is start up your “SW Update” app on your Nokia 5530 and let it check for the update.

    Have you ever tried to use groovshark.com ? It is not working on my 5530 even with this update.
    Any thoughts?

    It does not play videos. It shows an Flash Player icon with a 9 in it. Do you know if i missed a step?

    This IMHO is a real added bonusto the 5530, i listen to a lot of music and this update to me is a gem.
