The guys over at Nokia Conversations were nice enough to send us a nice new spankin Blue-White-Silver Nokia 5530 XpressMusic to check out.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic

I’ve been using the 5530 for a couple hours now, and I’m honestly suprised by how much I’m liking the little thing !

As usual we’ll have our First impressions and Unboxing up as soon as we can, followed by reviews of the device.

If you have any questions about the Device, do let us know and we’ll try our best to answer you. If not here itself, than in an upcoming post.

Stay Tuned y’all !

I would like to know more about the kinetic scrolling on the 5530. I believe that this may not extend to the main menu "icon" view, only the text list views. Any comments?

Yup you're right, the Kinetic Scrolling is in most places, but not the main menu or in Menu folders yet. Apparently Nokia said this "feature" will be added in with a firmware update, like firmware v20 on the N97.

No GPS or 3G, but those 2 features arnt really popular here in India anyway :) The battery life seems to be pretty great. I've used it for exactly 24 hours right now and its still at full battery.
