Thanks to DailyMobile, we’ve come to know that the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic just got a firmware update to version 31.0.008 . Its previous firmware was 30.0.011.

The 5800 does have UDP (User Data Preservation), so while its always a good idea to backup all your data before the firmware update, none of your programs or data should be affected with the update.
The update has only come to certain Europe Product codes at the time of posting, but no doubt it will be avilable across all regions and product codes soon.
Remember you can update using the 5800’s OTA (Over-The-Air) feature, or if you prefer you can download Nokia’s Software Updater application to update your 5800 on your windows PC.
There’s no actual changelog out yet, but we will update this post as soon as we find one. Apparently this update brings no real noticable changes as such, but apparently the Touch Sensitivity has been increased. No doubt there are a couple bug fixes in this version too.
You can check this thread over on the DailyMobile.se Forums for user comments on what this new firmware brings. Apparently there was some confusion in the beginning over this being fake, but it turned out the v31 firmware was true after all.

Hey There Ibzter ! Haha yeah apparently it did. But since its not actually on sale anywhere, we figured it might not be that important :P
