Nokia Messaging IM beta updated; Google Talk Compatible

The Nokia Messaging IM Beta application that was launched earlier in late June, has been updated to version 2 today.

Apparently the update adds support for Two more devices (Yay!). Now E71 and E63 users can join in on the IM Beta fun with them E75 users.

The update also adds in support for Google Talk.

Here’s a bit of the blog post over on BetaLabs :

We’re adding support for the E71 and E63 devices as well as support for the Google Talk community. Nokia Messaging offers a desktop-like IM experience on your Nokia device. You can stay in contact with your friends across multiple communities, easily switch between and save conversations and login invisibly.

Have any other S60 device ? Well you’re out of luck. Although they’ve said they’re adding support for more devices in the future. At this rate, maybe we’ll get 2 more devices supported with the next release ! Woo !
