Yesterday over in the Keynote, OPK announced that the Nokia N97 would be a receiving a firmware update to a version 2 (aka v20) firmware, that would bring several improvements to the device such as Kinetic Scrolling everywhere, speed & Bug fixes, more new Widgets, and a couple more fun things.

N97 v20.0.005 Firmware

Luckily Mark over at TheNokiaBlog, is at Nokia World, and was able to get a video showing off whats new in the upcoming v20.0.005 (Number might change before release) Firmware of the Nokia N97 :

As you can see there are plenty of improvements, and the Kinetic Scrolling looks like welcome change. The v20 firmware is scheduled for October so we’ll have to wait till then. But it definitely looks like it might breathe new life into the N97.

Just got the N97. Great phone, but sowas my previous one the E61i.
I can´t find a way to put up "call log" on the front display when I open the phone. Does anybody know how to do this, please?

Hey there Caspia. When you're on the Homescreen, just press the green calling key and it should bring up the Call Log.
