Nokia just announced their new Ovi LifeCasting service, which they’re describing as a way to “share memorable moments with your friends on Facebook“.
First up, here’s an Introduction video for Lifecasting to give you a proper idea of what it does.
The Official Description :
With Ovi, you can now keep your Facebook friends up to date where you are and what you are doing in a new way.
Right from the home screen of your Nokia N97, you can lifecast the street address you are at, and your friends can see your location on a map. You can also share a meaningful location from the nearby places of interest or your favourite place that you have saved on Ovi MapsBeta. To show your friends what a great spot you are exploring, you can take a photo, and attach it to your Facebook post.
You can download the Ovi Lifecasting Widget by clicking here. It only supports the Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 Mini at the moment y’all so if you have a different device, you’re out of luck.
They’ve also mentioned this bit of incentive which means you should deffo download it as soon as you can :
