Ah no, not quite. Apparently you cant actually “buy” any tracks from the store with this ol’ thing called “Money“. Forget Credit Cards, you’ll have to head on over to your nearest Nokia Store and BUY a whole new device, to get a voucher “free” with it. And then use the Pin Code thats on your “free” voucher to have access to a “few” tracks on the Music Store.

Yeah, I’m not kidding, thats the only way you can actually “buy” anything off the Nokia Music Store India, at this point.

So ummm…..how well does Nokia India think Music on the Store will “sell“, again ?

Oh yeah, they also mentioned Nokia’s Comes with Music Service will kick off in India later this year. I cant wait to see how they mess that up too.

Sigh.

Nokia needs to come in force with a complete solution that works first time or don't come at all. Learning as you go only pisses off on the customers time only pisses them off. Why does itunes do so well??? Hmmm, maybe because it JUST WORKS!

One thing they might do is offer package deals like Comes With Music or their monthly subscription system. Then you wouldn't need to buy any specific tracks, you'd just be buying access to the entire collection.

I guess this is just start, sooner there will be option to buy via credit card, online banking, may be Nokia Money can come into picture later.I hope they keep prices lower otherwise there no way Indian public going to "buy" Music.

This is just a guess, but maybe they're really trying to launch the Nokia Music software, which lets you organise your existing music collection on your PC? I dunno... that doesn't make much sense either... :-)

Its true. I was just as suprised as you were lol. I mean, come on it just makes no sense at all ? Dont they want to sell any music ? Maybe somehow the Indian Music Store will integrate with Nokia Money ? So many questions !

Erm... that sounds bonkers if it's true? Are you 100% sure there is no way to buy anything? Or maybe they plan to sell vouchers separately from phones?I could understand an unannounced soft launch without a purchase option so they could test stuff, but why do a full launch if there isn't any way to buy things yet?
