You might have noticed we rolled out a relatively small new “design and functionality update” here on ZOMGitsCj over the weeked. At the bottom of the site, we now have a Wibiya Toolbar (Disabled on the Mobile-version of ZCJ though) at the bottom of the website.
I’m always looking for ways to enable you, our readers to interact with our site better. Our Disqus Comment service helped with one stage of that, and I seriously believe that this new toolbar might help more. I hate clutter on the site, and Wibiya does a really good job of keeping it minimal and tidy, and features an RSS feed, lists the most recent posts, allows you to share our blog posts with people, check out our twitter updates, etc, all without even leaving the site homepage. There’s also a Facebook community section which you can join to show off that you read ZOMGitsCj.com. It also allows me to Share Blog or Symbian/Nokia related announcements or findings with you, that might not be big enough to create a whole blog post for it (Example: The E72 camera sample pictures that were not taken by us, but still good enough to share).

This all fits neatly into the foot of the browser, but if it annoys you, you can click the “Down Arrow” icon at the extreme right end of the bar, to sort of minimize it.
The reason I thought I should create a blog post on this particular update of the site design, is because we’re one of the first “Symbian/Nokia/Mobile-Phone” blogs to try this out (the service is still in Beta), and I would like to hear feedback from what you, our readers think of the Toolbar. If you find it too annoying, we’ll consider getting rid of it. If you find it useful, its here to stay.
Do let us know what y’all think, in the comments below.
