The N-Gage Application Gets Version 1.20(1511) Update

The Official N-Gage Application has been updated to Version 1.20(1511).

N-Gage App Update

To get the update, start up your current N-Gage application on your device and navigation to Options–>Check for update. It should automatically prompt you once you let your device connect to the Internet though.

Note: In my case the .sis installer file said it was the old 1.20(1459) version, but it installed the updated version anyway. Looks like someone at N-Gage screwed up with the file naming ?

This should bring up a web page with a link to the 11Mb Installable update. Remember to restart your device after the installation completes. The N-Gage application shortcut should be in your “Applications” Folder.

Once again, this new version probably just brings along a couple bug fixes. I cant notice any “New” features as such.

Have you noticed anything else new with the update that we might have missed ? Do let us know in the comments !

Hey there Curious. i'm afraid no, the 5800 does not support N-Gage.

did nokia 5800 xpress music has n-gage?

Heh weird it was the same filename for me, but it installed the new version. Thanks for letting us know anyway man :)

Cj! I found that the update page leads to the same older version- v1.20(1459).I already had a doubt why the version number written in filename was the same as before. So, after downloading the file I checked the file size and I found that it was exactly the same as the old version. Also, the Installer shows the same old version too.So I visited n-gage.com myself and found the original v1.20(1511). Here's a direct link to the original file of N-gage's latest version: http://www.n-gage.com/ngi/etc/medialib/ngage/we...It looks like the N-Gage guys mistakenly put a link to the same old version in the update page. :D

Note

We just went through a pretty massive rebranding from ZOMGitsCJ to UnleashThePhones. You might see a couple broken links, or missing images or strangely sized videos. If you do, please let us know on Twitter or using the Contact Form.
